Jim Allen


Jim has been designing and delivering transformation programs for clients of Fusion Strategic Inc. since he co-founded the consultancy with Carol Faull in 2004. Focused on creating high-performing teams, cultures and leadership capabilities, he has worked with a diverse range of clients and sectors, on five continents, in English, Spanish and French. Before co-founding Fusion, Jim was with the Centre for Ethical Orientation (CEO) from 2002 to 2004, where he co-authored and published a white paper on the state of trust in Canada.

Prior to joining CEO, Jim was the Executive Vice President and Head of Customer Marketing at CIBC, where he was responsible for advertising, marketing planning, market research, data base marketing and data warehousing. Jim began his career at CIBC in 1986 as a branch distribution officer, planning locations for new branches, and has since held a number of positions in the areas of distribution network planning, channel management, customer segmentation and marketing.

Prior to CIBC, Jim was an urban planner with the IBI Group and the Region of Peel. He holds a Masters degree in Urban Planning from Queen's University of Kingston and Simon Bolivar University in Caracas, Venezuela and also a Masters of Divinity from Emmanuel College at the University of Toronto.
